Set Up Your Device
iPhone / iPad / Mac
No app needed — CardDAV is built in. Go to Settings → Contacts → Accounts → Add Account → Other → Add CardDAV Account.
Android / GrapheneOS
Install DAVx5 from F-Droid or Google Play, then add a new account.
Connect
Enter your server URL (https://contacts.scc.im) and your email (or username) with your DAV password — found on your Addressbooks page. This is a separate password from your login, scoped to your contacts only. Your addressbooks are discovered automatically.
Sync & Go
Your contacts appear in your phone's Contacts app. Add, edit, or delete — everything syncs both ways, automatically.
Technical Details
Standards-Based
Full CardDAV (RFC 6352) and WebDAV (RFC 4918) compliance. Works with Apple Contacts, DAVx5, Thunderbird, and any other CardDAV client.
Efficient Sync
Supports sync-collection (RFC 6578) for incremental updates. Only changed contacts are transferred.
vCard Support
Stores vCard 3.0 and 4.0 data byte-for-byte. Photos, custom fields, and all properties preserved exactly.
