This policy explains how Contacts (https://contacts.scc.im) uses cookies.
1. What Cookies We Use
We use a single cookie:

2. What We Do NOT Use
- No analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Plausible, etc.).
- No advertising or remarketing cookies.
- No third-party cookies of any kind.
- No tracking pixels or web beacons.
- No fingerprinting or local storage for tracking.
3. Cookie Consent
Because we use only a strictly necessary session cookie, no cookie consent banner is required under the GDPR (Recital 30) or the ePrivacy Directive (Article 5(3)). Strictly necessary cookies are exempt from consent requirements.
4. How to Control Cookies
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Note that disabling the session cookie will prevent you from staying logged in to the web interface. CardDAV sync (via DAVx5 or other clients) uses HTTP Basic Auth and does not rely on cookies.
